Welcome to the Home Page for the The Andy Classic, an annual golf outing to celebrate the life of our friend and brother, Andrew Nolan. After Andrew passed away in 2020, a small group of family and close friends came up with the idea of celebrating his life with a day of golf, food and fun. With the overwhelming support of family and friends, this has become an annual event at Mallard Creek Golf Course.

In addition to remembering Andrew, it was decided that proceeds from the event would be directed towards funding an endowment scholarship in his name. The Andrew Nolan Memorial Endowment Scholarship at Ohio University was created and will benefit Bobcat students for years to come. The original memorial scholarship initiated by his employer, The Spyglass Group, was set up in Andrew’s name and will expire once all the funds are distributed. This Endowment Fund has been created and will be self- funding in the future once a funding threshold is reached. In other words, the Andrew Nolan Memorial Endowment Scholarship will go on forever – even after all of us are gone!!

Andrew was as genuine and reliable as they come. He would be the first to offer you the shirt off his back if needed and he was always the life of the party. Our goal is to keep Andrew’s spirit alive by gathering his closest friends for this day of golf, food, beer and laughs. He would have wanted it that way.

As Andrew's always said, "We're not here for a long time, we're here for a good time."
